Let's Get Together

How time flies! My heart is beating at the anticipation of Fall beginning tonight at 10:09pm. I’m so excited to be here to take in the feel, the beauty and smell that is none other than Fall. I miss the changes in seasons and I’m grateful to witness the beauty of this season.

With the ushering in of Fall, I am reminded that my time here in Missouri is half way over. I’m excited and can’t wait to get back to my girls and the new adventures that a wait for me at Renacer. This upcoming year is going to be more challenging than ever before. Thank God that He is faithful and all we need!

Before my time comes to an end here, I want to make sure I meet with everyone that I can and share with you individually what God is doing at Renacer, how He is using me in that process and the different opportunities there are for you to partner with me on this amazing journey.

So if you are reading this and would like to hear how God is restoring the ashes of teenage girls into His beauty please email me now at sunshineloveland@gmail.com. If you would like me to speak to your small group, youth group or you know of people who want to hear I’m more than happy to share. I leave 4 November to return home to Costa Rica for another year. So please contact me now. I love to hear from you. (Some of you may have already heard from me. If not email me.)

Costa Rica Drowning

Sorry it’s been awhile since I have posted. Things are going well here at my other home, Ozark, Missouri. It’s been such a blessing to be home. I can’t believe it’s already been a month and half and in 7 weeks I will be back home in Costa Rica!

I have a couple of prayer requests to share with you but first I want to share another praise with you. A week ago, I was talking to my friend Tiffany who works with me at Renacer, who told me that the day before a girl named Erika accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior!!! YEA GOD!!

First request: There has been some major spiritual warfare on campus with the girls and with one cabin in particular. Please pray these girls. Pray that first they will see God’s power as being sufficient; that will recognize the true power behind the “satanic games” they are playing; that the Spirit’s presence will fill each cabin; and for the staff to recognize and spend much time in prayer over these things.

Second request: I have been told a lot this past month that I am missing the worse rainy season ever. A friend posted on Facebook a video of a very familiar neighborhood that is only several miles from my house that is completely flooded due to the river rising. This is the story all over Costa Rica. People are loosing their homes, lives, everything! I’m not even sure if there’s home insurance. Most of these people have worked all their lives for what they have and it’s not easy to replace things with a national average monthly salary only being $400. And everything is super expensive; for example, I had to buy just a basic osculating floor fan that would have cost about $10-$15 here in the states. There, in Costa Rica it cost me $50! This is all across the board. So please pray for the people affected by the flood. One house on this street are were missionaries attending the Spanish Language Institute are living. If you’re friends with my on Facebook check out the video on my wall. If not try this link. http://www.facebook.com/sunshine.loveland#!/video/video.php?v=433953043532&ref=mf

Thanks for praying.
